A local charity which provided accommodation and counselling to more than 500 women and children experiencing domestic violence last year is to set up a new refuge in the city.

Midlands Simon Community is delighted to announce the opening of its first ‘Housing with Support’ service, called Slí Nua, which was officially opened by Minister Jan O’Sullivan, Minister for Housing and Planning yesterday, Thursday.
